Winemaker's Notes
Reigning from the Uco Valley in Mendoza, Argentina, this is a classic malbec with all the quintessential flavors that make this grape so appealing. A deep, lush profle gives off dark notes of mocha, chocolate, and rustic earth, while the finish is soft and balanced. This is incredibly drinkable and works well with darker meats or chocolate. Drink now through 2012.
Uco Valley AVA in southern Mendoza abuts the eastern Andes. From an altitude of 4,000 feet this single vineyard is entirely handpicked. Unfined and unfiltered, matured in French and American oak for 12 months. Taste the extreme terroir of the Uco Valley. |
