" The unoaked 2008 Las Pizarras del Jalon is 100% old-vine Garnacha sourced from vines ranging in age from 70-100 years. Purple-colored, it gives up a nose of earth, mineral, Asian spices, lavender and black cherry that jumps from the glass. With excellent depth and grip, gobs of fruit, and impeccable balance, it will continue to evolve for 1-2 years and offer prime drinking from 2011 to 2016.
