A sappy, formidably-concentrated pit fruit palate of imposing density and almost red wine-like tannic structure and with tart and pungent suggestions of rhubarb and pepper that call to mind Gruner Veltliner, is underlain by a formidable yet difficult to describe sense of meatiness and minerality. |
