Deep ruby with a bright edge, our 2009 Sonoma County Pinot Noir offers aromas of plum, raspberry, black cherry, cranberry, gingerbread, violets and light toast, followed by generous flavors of dark plum, cherry, lifted hints of creamy oak, dark spice, toffee and vanilla. This wine is well structured and elegant with delightfully firm, balanced acidity. The finish? Velvety and compelling. We suggest pairing this wine with paella and Tuscan-marinated roast pork loin. |
