Winemaker's Notes
Owned by the Bordeaux based company Mahler-Besse, Taja expresses its terroir: Jumilla. To the north of Murcia, in this sunny region, the vineyard is spread over clay soil at an altitude of 500 - 800 m. Taja Exelencia is the fruit of a special vinification of Tempranillo (75%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) grapes. Aged in 8 months in new French oak barrels, this rich and complex wine is remarkable by its intensity and freshness of fruit.
